Do you accept the statement "I feel tired"?

Does that make sense to you? When you're physically tired and someone asks you, "How are you feeling?" is "I'm tired" acceptable to say? Do you say it often when you're tired?

    (just curious)

Made a typo in the title, it's supposed to have the question mark outside of the quote marks.

No reason not to. The question is, how do you take it when people say 'You look tired'? Personally, I figure I look tired.

if somebody asks me how i'm feeling and i'm feeling tired, hell ya i'll say i'm tired. usually i say this with a smile showing that i'm still making an effort to be pleasant so they can't hold that shit against me and it works out fine as an intro to vaguely touch upon the events of the week.
I was fine when I came, and fine when I left.

That depends. Did they ask how I was feeling? Or how I was doing/ how I am?

I assume when people ask how I'm doing instead of feeling they are only being polite and don't actually care, so the answer is always vague and as positive as I can while still being honest.

If asked how I'm feeling I will answer more specifically, but still brief. I like to differentiate between types of tired. I will either say "sleepy" or "exhausted".

    Some other questions:

Were you raised primarily in a collectivist society? (I assume no because most of you are from murica)

In general, are you more depressed than not?

Do you believe in psychology as a genuine discipline? Is being a psychologist a legitimate job?

Do you believe that the mind and body are separate?

What? But "I am tired" isn't a question. The question is Do you accept the statement _____? So it makes sense that the question mark lies outside the quotation marks. I'm irritable today and you're an idiot. Probably from murica.

Okay, I see what you're saying. I'll look it up and see what we idiots would do in "murica."
