over the next week i have to:
    - put together a great b-day present for my boyfriend
    - scan my photo prints

    this month i'd like to:
    - figure out wth is going on with fall registration
    - complete and submit course waiver form or whatever da fuck i have to do
    - maybe attend some kind of convention just to get a feel for self-marketing. but right now there's nothing on my calendar.
    - get some better clothes that don't make me look like a kid

what i HAVE to do or else i can't live:
    - be regularly engaged in some kind of ongoing personal or promotional project*
    - complete one piece of work before [submission deadline]
    - contact at least one editor or director each week. this is actually gonna be hard, but i feel motivated.

    * i should get a plan, a good one that doesn't hurt to follow through on.

    -Ride my bike.
-Start looking for a new job.

Maybe posting this will encourage me to work on these things...

Is that possible without a ramp?

^^That is a professional on professional jet ski freestyle equipment. Just to give you an idea. Yes I know that looks ridiculous. But that is a talented rider with great equipment and the money to support it. You don't make money in professional jet skiing and that ski cost 40k.

Here In the real world on the great lakes it is possible and has been done many times by normal stand up jet skis like the one I own. The keys are 1. commitment 2. The right Day. 3. Enough skill to be able to time the moments up to the wave to leave the lip as fast as possible.

A few times a year on lake erie we get seriously big swells (like 12-15 foot) and on the coast line they will break nicely at 7 feet. I need to be able to ride one of those days with my game face on and be with 2 other riders. Also, my equipment needs to be running perfectly....I'll get 2 or 3 chances this year tops. But its been a dream for years now and I'm going to make it happen or at least break something trying.

So, I don't expect to see you posting come August.

    My July goals:

Preferably start and finish the rest of the books too.
    Finish Oryx and Crake.
    Find money.
    Make significant progress on website.
Redesign my own website (right after redesigning it)?
    Ace Spanish.
Weigh in under 185lbs while at least maintaining strength levels.

I'm suspicious of people who say they'll die for a flag but won't wear a mask for their neighbor.
