    Jennifer Lawrence Leaks

    Multiple Celebrity Nudes Leaked

What do you think about this? Invasion of privacy? Virtual Rape? Warriors for the good of the internet? Don't care? Want pictures of someone else?

Have you seen the leaks? Have you been affected by the Fappening?

Me personally I wish someone would leak nudes of a celebrity no one would expect nudes from for a strictly comedy value.

By any sensible measure it is definitely an invasion of privacy.

To me the interesting question is why we care so much. Why so much fapping over this when there is a whole internet of porn? Seems like the invasion of privacy is what turns people on.

Isn't everything now a days though? At what point do we start to care? Shit facebook knows more about me that any person does.

I think you are right it is the allure of we are not supposed to have it which is why people are so excited.

I suppose that's for each person to decide for themselves. I don't think it's OK to invade somebody's privacy and then tell them not to worry about it because nobody else cares.

Also I want to say that hate the argument that you hear some people make: "They should have realised this would happen, they are so dumb and it's their fault". A company provides a service and has a duty to make sure it is a robust one. "Oh yeah they should have known their brakes would fail, all cars have faulty brakes these days. If you don't want to crash just don't buy a car."

I love this use of the "cloud" as a fanciful, mister fucking wisples, out there in the ether. "the cloud" is nothing but some marketing prick's buzz term for the internet, everything described in cloud computing is already a part of how networks fundamentally already operate.
If I hear someone say "cyber cloud" I'm going to shit a dongle.

As for the pictures, you can't expect to put them on someone's network and not have them looked at. Flickr do that shit all the time.

Neither do I just don't think we should care because it happens to all of us as well . IF they want to worry go ahead. They are going to make serious money off this anyways.

What do you mean?!? "The cloud" isn't a magical impregnable sky fortress populated by email fairies and guarded by Gandalf?!? You mean if I type a sentence or upload a picture it ACTUALLY EXISTS somewhere? Like on a computer?

I find it disturbing how the media and publishing companies buy these hacks. Well, business is business. /perverted consumerism

iCloud photos don't really have encryption though so the article did not really walk the talk.

And damn you Forbes, it's Jennifer Lawrence not Jessica Lawrence! Jeez.

It's pretty fucked up. People bitch and moan about the nsa and the man fucking with their privacy and then in the same breath cheer and scream for more when it's some hacker stealing and releasing sensitive pictures. although, it probably wasn't a single exploit of icloud that produced the hundreds of pictures and was more likely someone(s) gaining access to a darknet celebrity nude trading ring. Either way people are going to prison for a very long time. So, not worth it.

Though unlikely in either situation, this may end up doing more for privacy than anything snowden did if it at least makes people think about their data.

I really just want to see the analytics behind this all and how they spread throughout the web.
Then why did he put the Devil in me?

Perhaps its just me showing my age, but who in their right mind would upload nude pictures of themselves to the internet and think it was secure/private?
