The point of this game is to be one of the last two people on the island. Each round, those not yet eliminated will PM me with their choice of who to dine on with the rest of the survivors. Each round will last a minimum of one day, the game will only progress when everyone still alive has voted.

I'm assuming resolution by plurality--but I'm missing the part where this makes a game. The problem is this: how do the participants motivate people to vote for someone, or away from themselves? How can you, as a player, defend against being devoured?
Obviously there is room for cabals, and that would be the most effective starting strategy (ala Survivor), but you still need some other means to directly avoid or deter being eaten, or there really isn't much meat to the game.
Will you be making votes public after they are in? Knowing who voted for whom would be important to know, and make the game more gamey, because the players would better know who was playing straight and who was a dirty lying cheat.
Another question is: what will you do about ties? Runoff? Random selection? Or will you forestall the issue with a weighted vote system?
