Do you still have a working floppy drive?
I know a place that still uses 8 inch floppies.

It actually kinda blew my mind when I realized that I could have a conversation with people born in the 90s. Uh. They can talk already?

My last 4 bfs over the past 7 years were 7-10 years younger than me, and although I could normally forget there was an age difference at all, sometimes things like this would happen:

    "What's the Lambada?"
"Did you used to watch Charlie's Angels?"
    "How do you cook spaghetti?"
"No, I don't know who sang 'Happy birthday Mr. President'."
"Don't get mad, but I made a pact with my friends that we're all going to have sex tonight at the same time."

And borrowed from my twin sister's experience:

"Yes, I like old Italian cinema too. I watched 'Life is Beautiful'."

it's not that much of an age difference but i've only had boyfriends 4 - 6 yrs older than me and i always get the comment that i am "more mature" than most people my age and even their age. you know what though, even though i look 16 now, that shit comes at a price.

I worked at a preschool while I was in high-school

I just talked to a kid (adult I guess) who is having a baby and turning 21. Realized he is the same age as those preschoolers! Augh! I should not be drinking with toddlers...
    Don't remember changing this.

I used to get that in my 20s, but now at my age, "mature" isn't a question anymore, heh. You either have it or you don't by this stage. Even if I were to date someone much older than me, I doubt it would be an issue.

I think that people retain the maturity they reached in their 20s for the rest of their lives. Kinda scary to think about. The people I know who have already had their chance to become mature and are still fucking around being irresponsible, I know they're always going to be that way.

    Nuclear missile launch silos?

I think the branch of the military in charge of that watched War Games a little too much and grew overly attached to the aesthetic.

This is a terrible idea, but it could be a plot point in a Dr Strangelove remake.

For me, it would be this:

I think he's older than me IIRC, but still.

    yeah.

i'm coming across a sort of pattern now, where i actually wanna pressure boyfriends to stop fucking around and start getting more serious and practical about their lives, but that would really suck for guys who actively try to avoid that by dating younger women. i'm just not gonna be that kind of girlfriend or partner who commits to allowing someone to waste their life. i don't know if i'll gain or lose patience for this i get older. for now i can only hope to be the type of amazing girlfriend who inspires someone to "be a better man" and stop fucking around.
