The only weird fiction I ever read was Kafka's Metamorphosis. That was weird.
Didn't know this had it's own subgenre. I've read some weird stuff now and again, but it's not clear to me what qualifies.
Tim Lebbon's Noreela novels are kind of fantasy/horror and they are pretty unusual. Does that make them weird? What about funny/strange like Max Frei Stranger novels (or maybe Terry Pratchett)? Does weird have to be spooky?
