    Your Next Most Descriptive Type?

I'm an INTP without a doubt. That is, when I read INTP profiles, they always describe me far more accurately than any other type. (... to a singularly eerie degree of descriptive accuracy, at that)

But every now and then I wonder: what is the next most accurate profile, relatively? Second place, basically?

In my case, INTJ is the next most descriptive profile. To be clear, there's a quantum leap between how INTP and INTJ apply to me, just as there is another quantum leap between how INTJ and any other remaining type applies to me.

    How about you?

Also INTJ. I'm really close to being INTJ, close enough that I can't guarantee that I'm not one. I thought I might be ISTP for a while, but then I remembered that I hate doing things.

INfP in the normal conventions regarding the N-F dichotomy.
ISTP as it relates to being strongly visual/spatial in learning/thinking style.

I'm pretty sure if I slip into another type at some point it will be INFJ. Something very very horrible/traumatic would have to happen, like my loved ones being brutally murdered and eaten in front of me.

When I first took the MBTI I scored almost perfectly in between INTP and INTJ.

INTJ. Any time I've tested myself for individual functions I ended up scoring very highly for Ni and Te, almost as highly as Ti and Ne. I think that in my work life, especially, I do tend to migrate in and out of INTJ mode, where I will be decisive and solve problems on little information.

I think INTJ is one of the types I admire the most, and certainly one of the types I would most like to emulate. I think INTJs have a lot of the benefits of being INTP without any of the drawbacks.

I'm suspicious of people who say they'll die for a flag but won't wear a mask for their neighbor.
