    2014 Halloween Thread

most of you probably don't "celebrate" (i don't, typically). how are you spending it?

i'm spending my day probably sleeping in and doing regular life maintenance stuff like laundry and cleaning the house, then after bf gets off work we're probably gonna indulge in a horror movie with popcorn and/or pizza. i'm also in the mood for creepypasta so i might propose we read some to each other to lighten up the mood afterwards.

i'd rather do that than chaperone kids that aren't mine. i'm not in a social mood.

I got invited to a party. I declined, I'm going to get drunk and play empire total war and finally finish off Prussia once and for all. If someone knocks on my door I'll put .22lr in the bag.

Work. Then giving candy to kids who knock on my door... and eating some of the candy.

Working all weekend then doing homework. It's fucking bullshit I hate my life.

    I love Halloween!
I make new costumes nearly every year. Actual costumes, not lazy ones. The preparation is half the fun!

This year we are are going to a pregame party at one of the obnoxious bachelor towers, then off to the fetish and fantasy ball.

Luckily the smallest children trick or treat before it's fully dark, which is when we will be home getting ready. So I get to pass candy out to the cutest, most polite ones before party time.
    Don't remember changing this.

Halloween is awesome, already did a party at Ptah's.

I've been kinda underwater the last month however, so I cheated a bit and went as the Scarecrow ala Batman. My mask was a hit though.

I've improvised a "burlesque Velma" costume for hitting the bars tonight, but I'm really excited to see what other people wear. Last time I did Halloween in this neighborhood I saw really amazing costumes. Tonight's going to be rainy, so we'll probably stick close to home and stay at places longer. I'll pre- and post-game with hot toddies.

    Where's my bong?

Oh, right, I gave it away.
I'm suspicious of people who say they'll die for a flag but won't wear a mask for their neighbor.
