    Photography

This is an INTP forum, so by god, there must be a photography thread. Post photos you've taken here. My proclivity is Photoshop composites are not true photography, but rather creative design or graphic art. Feel free to disagree, but since it's my thread, keep the photos reasonably accurate representations of your subject or at least your vision as such. No composited butterflies in the city, multiple moons, purple tornadoes ravaging Disneyland or other such nonsense.

Here's what I've come up with during my first foray into digital photography. Yes, I'm rusty and I need to learn this new workflow.

Good stuff! We need to get Limey in here, too.

Edit: I like the one looking up at the building the best, but they are all quite nice.

Can one recommend a free/anonymous image host? I used to use imageshack.us but they seem to be requiring registration. Don't want to use my old flickr account if it can be avoided....

Photobucket is decent. Despite the irritating interface, I've switched to Flickr because they place no size limitation on the files they'll host and give you a huge chunk of storage space.

Apologies ahead of time, most of the colour/resolution for these have been adjusted for display on my horrible monitor at work :P

Lets start with some from iguazu...

I prefer the first, but people seem to like the second...

    That crab is stunning.
For some, "how", not "why", is the fundamental unit of measure for curiosity. This divergence is neither parallel, nor straight. Where one might have a "why?-5" problem, it might only be a "how?-2" question. But then, there are also many things where the "why?" is immediately obvious but the "how?" is best measured in centuries of perpetual wonder. Both approaches have their drawbacks.

If one is superior, the other is unaware of it.

Thanks both. Looking to be going through north america later this yeah, so the utah pictures are inspiring.

One last one for the night. More personally moody :P Was a late afternoon on the third day of walking the inca trail. Absolutely miserable weather for the entire thing. Cloud separated to provide a very stark view of mountains between two cloud layers. Need to edit it with some black and white shading...
