Hermès silk scarf. Classy, luxurious and will remind her of you everytime she dons it (most mothers like to be reminded of their sons).

The abovementioned recommendation is obsolete if your dear mother is of the jeans and t-shirt kind.

My parents told me basically that they have accumulated too much crap but might use some books or music. My brother and his family....I don't know, it's always lame to buy them presents because I don't know what they really like and/or they want stupid crap to fill up their house (a box to organize your essential oils?! what the hell?!). I have the excuse of being overseas this Christmas, so I can really be late/delinquent about things. I've already started skipping birthdays except for well-wishes--maybe I can move that way with Christmas, too. I told my brother just to give money to a liberal charity on my behalf. None of this missionary nonsense.

my bf and i happened to get the same book so we're giving it to each other. corny as fucking hell. or sweet. idk anymore.

other than that, i haven't gotten anything for anybody yet. i'm thinking about getting tea for my parents and bf's fam.

i got a $50 gift card to an upscale chinese restaurant and likely will get more things from bf's fam. they're big on gifts, but my fam isn't.

Nothing for my sisters by mutual agreement. Probably handmade firestarters, chocolate or coffee for my parents and some other adult people. Steam codes, puzzles, BBC documentaries or earrings for various kids.
