"the whole creation has been groaning"

Romans 8:22 "We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time."

And the finale: Snapping turtle vs rats

According to Isaiah 11:6, in the end "The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them."

So at least there is a happy ending

I think God went a bit overboard with the curse. He gets upset with humans doing bad things but his creatures get up to some bad things too. Though I guess they don't have knowledge of good and evil (like Adam and Eve lacked as well before eating the fruit).
