Those who begin coercive elimination of dissent soon find themselves exterminating dissenters. Compulsory unification of opinion achieves only the unanimity of the graveyard.

Here's a couple I like of their newer stuff:

But your individuality and your present need will be swept away by change,
and what you now ardently desire will one day become the object of abhorrence.
    ~ Schiller - 'Psychological Types'

And for their new album, there are a ton of songs I like on it. Depending on my mood, I can really like any one of these songs very strongly:

This songs great when I am feeling down, but hopeful:

This song is good when I need to force myself out of depression:

This song is good when I am dealing on accepting my sadness due to depression:

I thought this song was "OK" until I heard the lyrics more closely. Once I understood the song better, it really hit home what Chester was dealing with - especially after his death. It paints a picture that he cared deeply about people and found value in others.

And this song speaks to me in how I desire to "set my own path" so to speak. All the things I was taught growing up and the flaws with them and me rebelling against them, only to learn that my way wasn't perfect either. Give the same feeling that Shinedowns "Simple Man" gives:

But your individuality and your present need will be swept away by change,
and what you now ardently desire will one day become the object of abhorrence.

I like his new shit, and the One More Light on Jimmy Kimmel dedicated to Chris Cornell. Nobody can save me is one of my faves, and Battle Symphony.

I've been listening to them since...their first hits.

Here's one that I have in my library, rated Five stars.

    "Sometimes goodbye's the only way..."

    Badboy tune.

It's true the way I feel
    Was promised by your face
    The sound of your voice
    Painted on my memories
Even if you're not with me
    I'm with you
