    Filthy mouth, no excuse
Find a new place to hang this noose
String me up from atop these roofs
Knot it tight so I won't get loose

Truth is you can stop and stare
Bled myself out and no one cares
Dug the trench out laid down there
With a shovel up out of reach somewhere

Mama help me I've been cursed
Death is rolling in every verse
Candy paint on his brand new hearse
Can't contain him he knows he works

Fuck this hurts, I won't lie
Doesn't matter how hard I try
Half the words don't mean a thing
And I know that I won't be satisfied

I bleed it out digging deeper
    Just to throw it away
I bleed it out digging deeper
    Just to throw it away
I bleed it out digging deeper
    Just to throw it away
    Just to throw it away
    Just to throw it away

    I bleed it out
    I bleed it out
    I bleed it out

'Cause from the infinite words I could say
I put all the pain you gave to me on display
But didn't realize instead of setting it free
I took what I hated and made it a part of me

And now you've become a part of me
    You'll always be right here
You've become a part of me
    You'll always be my fear
    I can't separate
    Myself from what I've done
Giving up a part of me
    I've let myself become you

his best stuff is on hybrid theory, from then on, yeah he was still good and LP still made a bunch of cool songs
but they decided to turn their sound more and more comercial, when you think of it, if you take out his voice you could say rage against, placebo or many other american alternative rock-pop bands were doing the exact same thing, hell i know you like evanescence, even some things sound like them

The only thing I can think they have in common (LP & EV) is their experimentation with metal/electronica.. or something... Got any examples that come to mind?

mmm Lost in paradise instrumental track could have been done by LP, change her voice for bennington and you have it, he even covered some adele i believe
i mean, i get it, what makes all those bands unique is their singer not really their music anyway plus production seems to take everyone in the same direction

I haven't listened to the instrumental, surprisingly, but I will do now
