    The Forbidden Tree

I have some spare canvases from a baby shower I organized last March. I always wanted to try using buttons so here it is. I made this a few weeks ago. For some reason, I am unhappy with the border. It looks rigid and uncomfortable, I don't know.

    String Art 01: Edna (16'' x 16'' ombre)

I am currently practicing string art when I have some time. This was my second piece. I gave it as a gift to a friend who celebrated her 60th birthday last week. I made this in less than 2hrs right on time for the party. My right hand kinda hurt after. I think I'll experiment on a different wood stain. Also need to do better geometrically.

I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to spend my Sunday, so did a fairly quick recording of a bit of this Radiohead song.

I've really liked the guitar in this for quite a while. The way it seems to kind of "float" along in a fluid melodic way. I'd like to be able to play like that spontaneously. I could think that Greenwood may have just been able to record it off the cuff, as one take, but who knows. Maybe he recorded a bunch of bits and pieced them together.

I used this for the guitar.

I think I may have nailed the Thom Yorke whine. My housemate is in the room next door, so it's a nervous proposition to record vocals.

    Wall-Mounted Key Holder

Someone keeps on forgetting where the car keys are, I decided to create a keyholder which we can place by the door. Easy to spot and far from the little toddler's reach.

I used items available in the house at the time. The gaps between stones make me cringe. I'll probably fill them up with glue and something else.
