Persuasive and wrong could be dangerous. I don't support that. I like equal time and sometimes censorship, walkouts, and protests. Whatever works.

But the problem with that webpage is there's no context and no quotes. I don't know that I'm not being misled.

OK, there are some quotes and one is a full sentence. It's not persuasive to me.

I think they'll be broadcasting him live here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm6S4jBTbRA

He's scheduled to start in 10 minutes, 7 PM west coast time.

    I didn't read the OP. I didn't read anyone's responses. Apologies.

I hate headlines so much I can't stomach reading the above/below (depending on your forum settings) right now.

I get it. It's like evolution. The best click bait gets clicked and survives and thrives. But I don't like it. (can't help but wonder if this has anything to do with the OP. Still not in the mood to read it. It's click bait, after all!)

When done right, the goal of a headline is to provoke discomfort: curiosity, outrage, ego, jealousy, self-preservation, sex, etc. The click-through or purchase of newspaper/magazine is supposed to relieve that discomfort.

Publishers and Advertisers have been using this formula for more than a century.

Does anyone else find the whole Weinstein narrative, with bandwagon disclosures in other industries really distasteful? In many cases, it seems to be a consensual transaction occuring, whereby someone gets to further their career. Why play ball with this guy, reap the rewards, letting other unsuspecting women be subjected to his depravity, and only now come forward?

Sounds more like regret sex than anything else.

I think it's an attempt to provoke a sea change of power dynamics. They're working their way up from talk show hosts.
Most of time, when people ask why something terrible happened, they don't realize they are looking for someone to blame.

Well, if anything, it might end the ability women have to advance their careers through sex.
