Every once in a while a forum trend will take off and turn into a contagion or pollination (depending on your point of view).
This thread is to document such trends. First post will be the index, feel free to voice your approval, disapproval or opinions of said trends.

I want to know what this means! But the top parsings are equally Salvador Dali.
Most of time, when people ask why something terrible happened, they don't realize they are looking for someone to blame.

Thread starters need to have more originality than that, specifically the "don't deserve their own thread" threads. Ugh.

You guys should take BarIII as a role model.
We cling to our past as if they define us. What we do defines us.

Oh shit, now I get it. Sorry.
No, I just enjoy observing and documenting patterns. If they bugged me, I would have posted this in the Perdition forum.

pretty sure the roasting threads originated by everyone teasing BarIII about his feet. which is to say, where's his thread? i could be wrong though.

Hmmm, didn't come across one for BarIII. It might have just been a split thread that happened organically.

now that you mention it. i think it was just a thread split. we all had a good time teasing him about his feet though.

interesting choice of avatar btw. the leopard is one of Africa's big 5. the facial expression personifies sociopathy and apprehensive homicidal rage. unlike the lion, you don't want to look at a leopard when it charges you. you want to stand still, look away, and hope it backs down. so encountering a leopard is pretty much a death sentence. totally unlike it's similar looking cat cousin, the cheetah, which is docile if unprovoked.

Bar needs his own roast thread. Pretty sure there's no rule about starting someone else's roast thread.
