What is this. Next thing you'll want to pronounce aluminium "aluminum"!

The reason I didn't vote is because I've said Feb-u-ary most of my life but I eventually switched to "Feb-ru-ary" for some reason. Maybe before I got the internet. Now I notice both are correct and I have to do more research to determine which is the better choice for me.
I will accept no further friend requests. This doesn't mean I don't love you or anything so don't be offended.

I use to pronounce the "a" in radiator like the "a" in radical, rather than like the "a" in raid, until some guy from South Carolina mockingly asked me "does it radiate" using the same "a" pronunciation.

According to my sources, all three variants below are correct for American English:

    feb.ruː.er.i
    feb.juː.er.i
    feb.jə.wer.i

I remember as seven year old, having to stay with neighboring babysitters when my dad's dad died. They were Irish, Dubliners I think. Maureen and "Blackie".
They had one of the fancy Ferguson videostar VHS tape recorders before anyone else. I remember trying to explain to them, that it's FebRuary, not febuary, but they just laughed like imbeciles.

I'm not a huge fan of French etymology myself, RAPE! and that's why I don't mind American-English spellings, but let's face it, I'm pretty sure it's derived from février (which is one of the gayest sounding words in existence, but there it is)

I want to blame television, but I'm a little biased right now because I had to leave the room during a newscast/weather forecast because of the thickly retarded shit coming out of the electronic mindwash box. So it probably wasn't TV's fault, but I'm gonna blame TV for now.

edit: (lol srsly i cannot be in the same room with my family right now because they're using a television and I cannot cannot cannot cannot filter out the... whatever the fuck that is.)
    stupid pancakes.

When they started pushing more words and turns of phrase into the collective consciousness of the language in the dynamism that is English (it's open source, widespread use wins!) - I think it was at the turn of the twentieth century, I remember reading out of it.
Hope Gee, I hope I'm not coming out of left field.
