    I love functional miniature things.

So I watched one, and it was really weird. Less adorable and more bizarre than I expected. Like, I kept thinking about the dolls. Where are the dolls who should be cooking this? Whose kitchen this should be? But then how cruel would it be to place real food in front of a doll that can't digest it?

It's like a weird sort of Goldilocks phenomenon. Hey you clueless, careless brat, that's not for you! And then when the person actually eats it themselves its sort of monstrous.

It makes me want to watch folksy stop-motion or Yuri N. (forgot his name) animation to compensate.
Too bad, Lady Une. You were far too lenient.
As a soldier, yes. But as a civilian I lived an austere life.

the song that plays in all the "tiny kitchen" videos is pretty much what i imagine the soundtrack to my chickens' life would be. it sounds like a song chickens could sing, with the "bo bo bo bo bo"s. does anybody else hear it?

anyway, that's why i love tiny kitchen in particular. it's that song. it's perfect.
