    INTPs and "life projects"?

Looking over the lives of famous INTPs, I noticed that many of them seem to have been driven by "life projects". Whether conscious or unconscious, deliberate or accidental, intentional or unintentional their lives were driven by projects. So, what do you guys think about the whole INTP "life project" relationship?

I definitely feel like I'm on my own small scale life project. The guiding motivation kicked in when I got pregnant. I want to live a healthy life, raise a healthy kid, and contribute to the health of my community. It sounds mundane (because it is), but I didn't have any of those goals in my twenties.
Too bad, Lady Une. You were far too lenient.
As a soldier, yes. But as a civilian I lived an austere life.

What do you mean by life projects? Passion projects?

I donít think thatís exclusive to INTPs. If I had to surmise I would say it correlates most to a high internal locus of control.

I think they'd be helpful to have. Given our propensity for the complex, it wouldn't be unsurprising to create unattainable goals. Not necessarily unrealistic but could take regular assessment and reconfiguration to actually something that can be reached not just something cool in our heads.

Yarp. I was thinking it had more to do with being famous than being INTP.
