I have always had sinus problems. Worst was last year. Like 6 months straight.

    #ProTip

After a month, go to the doc. Get a round of prednisone. Like a cold-boot for your sinuses. Even when you get better. You can still have little tiny pockets that never fully drained.

I was just going to have a glass of milk but I thought of what you said and I opened a beer instead, feeling much better

    Totally useless anecdotal data:

For the past few days I've been using my neti pot twice daily, my diffuser at night, and drinking licorice tea. This morning my headache was awful so I took an ibuprofen. In the meantime, a front of warm, humid weather rolled in. This evening I feel fine. Did the neti pot and all discharge was clear.

We'll see how long this freedom from sinus symptoms holds.

Anyone else frequently which they could crush all the cavities in the front of their skull just to relieve the pressure?
Do you have a deviated septum?

I don't know! I've never gone to a specialist for it. It seems weird that it would suddenly manifest in adulthood, though.

And yeah today has sucked. Pressure and headaches all day. Scant green discharge from the neti flush.

I dunno if this helps but every time I get a sinus headache I take a Claritin and it goes away. It actually wasn't obvious to me that this was an allergy issue (and took a long time to realize), so that might be something to check on.

I didn't think this would be it since I have zero other symptoms but I started taking Claritin and no more headaches! thanks for the tip!

No problem. That's why it took me so long to figure out too, I had no other symptoms.

Edit: I'll also say that generic brand works as well as actual Claritin, and costs half as much.

Yeah that's the one I'm actually taking.
Too bad, Lady Une. You were far too lenient.
As a soldier, yes. But as a civilian I lived an austere life.
