Those who begin coercive elimination of dissent soon find themselves exterminating dissenters. Compulsory unification of opinion achieves only the unanimity of the graveyard.

Oh the woe of composite star ratings on Amazon pages offering multiple products. How can I tell how much people liked the Signature Blend Dark Roast when the 4+ star rating was a composite of about 20 varieties? I could scour the individual reviews. I'll just buy a variety pack of 3 12 oz bags and will try it myself.

Grand Cayman is like a whiter version of Florida. It's like we didn't even leave the country.

Being able to Google everything instantly at all times certainly kills many good, or at least mirthful, conversations in the bud.

Life is quite poor and unamusing as it stands, so this might be a bigger loss than it may appear at first glance.

Even worse, it gives people the illusion of knowledge, which in turn masquerades as thought.
People think they understand their own mortality, even when that understanding has just changed.

Everything sucks, but not quite badly enough to give me the drive to kill myself
