    Yeah... I consistently type as INTP, but a lot of that does not resonate with me.

    I'm prefer action to thought, over delay anyway.

    I prefer Enneagram theory, you sound like you're describing all Type 5 Enneagrams but not all INTPs.

    He says that ISTPs view ideas as a way to explain the world, while INTPs view the world as a manifestation of ideas.

    I'm not sure I can agree. I do tend to see the idea behind the way things are, but the world is more like a Frankenstein monster of conflicting ideas distilled by the imperfect hand of practice, or even ideas emerging in opposition to established practice. I guess I don't think you can simply say "this is where ideas come from" because it's a dialectical process.
