    Amen.
All truth passes through three stages:

    First, it is ridiculed.
    Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

Drinking sparkling water is to drinking a beverage as licking a nine volt battery is licking an ice cream cone.

Its not surprising that white people have a low tolerance for spicy food considering that they ate bland food for centuries prior to being cultured.

Drinking one of those LaCroix things is like if you were hungry for a hot dog, but just drank the hot dog water from the cart instead.

I see what you were going for, but....no.

Where were you and have you learned to never go there again? Vancouver and Toronto at least have a tremendous variety of flavours and cuisines on offer at restaurants and grocery stores. Even Ottawa is OK.
It was in Montreal, though they're frenchies i specified "anglo" because it was mostly american or ango-canadian chains/franchises everywhere.

Nobody liked it, but if people didn't eat it my grandma would get mad. We would have to make sure to put a little bit on our plates to make it look like we were eating it.
I read somewhere that these jello aberrations became popular party foods when owning a refrigerator (and hence, being able to make jello) was still a status symbol.
