If I must suffer to carry and use a "smart" phone, I'd prefer it be fold-able like this, that I might dismiss it even further from my awareness when not in use (which is most of the time).

    Hello, Moto!

I've been waiting for this to come back into fashion.
All truth passes through three stages:

    First, it is ridiculed.
    Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

Thank god I didn't break down and replace my iphone yet. I'm getting tired of the whole planned obsolescence bullshit and was looking for something to switch to.

What makes you think these don't have planned obsolesce? I'd wait at a few years for them to prove themselves, especially with a $1500 price tag.

That folding screen is planned obsolescence. That price tag is obscene.

I want a phone like the ol' Samsung Comeback--clamshell opening and a physical keyboard opposite the screen. I have zero interest in a folding display because I don't want a touchscreen keyboard. They're inferior in every way. I also don't want to lug around an external keyboard just so I don't have to use a touchscreen keyboard.
