I think Carmel corn or kettle corn is a really good idea. Or cookies/rice krispy treats on a decorative platter.

Well, in a broad market index fund to be more precise. I hope you are doing that with your kids funds. If you do that by 21 she will be so much richer than you she will vote conservative (even though I know you will indoctrinate her in your socialist ways).

I really like the nuts idea. I wouldn't have thought to do that. There's half 'latte' almonds/half pistachios separated by pirouettes with pretzels surrounding the container (those containers were only $2 at Dollar General). Then there's a bag of macadamia nut coffee and a bag of chocolates. I'm going to buy hard glossy cellophane tomorrow to make caramel popcorn sacks for some height. This seems like a nice, affordable, and tasty way to fill up dead spots.

The baskets are clunky, but they were only $5 so I figured I'd find a way to dress them up. I'll probably buy some fake poinsettias from Dollar Tree tomorrow to stick in some of the gaps. Idk how I can make those baskets look less shopping cart-y.

    And thanks for the suggestions

    Alright, done:
