I'm going to make an effort to listen to three different albums per day for a while.

Today had this Mike Stern song. I find his albums are comprised of two types of song: funky as fuck, or cheesy 'chilled out' lame songs. This is the funky kind.

The guitar solo. Wow. I find it interesting though, that he repeats so many of the same phrases in many of his songs. It's like he's been playing the same guitar solo his whole career. But a bit differently. (This was my clue in that a lot of jazz musicians are not quite as they appear.) This one, those huge bends: so nice.

This song is really good. Great vocals. Some people may say it has a 'jeff buckley' sound, if you're into that, and that's probably fairly accurate.

I'm hooked on the Ragnarok score. Please halp. This song kills me

Glimpses do ye seem to see of that mortally intolerable truth; that all deep, earnest thinking is but the intrepid effort of the soul to keep the open independence of her sea; while the wildest winds of heaven and earth conspire to cast her on the treacherous, slavish shore?

The most beautiful paintings in existence today are the ones which were not painted by anyone.

damn i forgot that green day was a great band, they are still strong. fuck.
also, this video was made by an spanish animator, Joseba Elorza, i took a course by him on his style and after effects, it's crazy the amount of work and time spent to do something like this, a true masterpiece and he deserves every cent for his work.
